  The Archdiocese of Washington Office for Ministry with Persons with Disabilities is pastoral in nature and serves as a resource and information center for pastors, parish leaders, persons with disabilities, their parent, caregivers, educators and service providers.

  Bethesda Lutheran Homes & Service, Inc. provides information in reference to bible studies, a library, posters, videos and on-line sermons regarding the spiritual inclusion of people with disabilities.

  The Christian Church Foundation for the Handicapped provides a wide range of educational materials including books, resource packets, and lesson plans to support families, spiritual communities and adults and children with disabilities.

  As part of the Community Connections Grant, a committee has been created to address the needs of congregations and spiritual communities in the local area. The Community Connections Spiritual Task Force has developed a set of documents that you may download to assist your Spiritual Community in becoming more accessible and welcoming to young children with disabilities and their families.

  Friendship Ministries provides 1) a comprehensive set of religious education materials designed specifically for people with cognitive impairments, and 2) an extensive consulting services in helping churches from various denominations start Bible study programs for both youth and adults with cognitive impairments. Since its inception, Friendship Ministries has helped more than 800 churches (from 40+ denominations) to start such programs.

blue arrow National Organization on Disability (N.O.D.)
  N.O.D.'s Accessible Congregations Campaign provides a program for congregations and spiritual organizations to commit to providing individuals with disabilities full access to all programs and activities within a spiritual community. The site also provides information regarding local spiritual organizations that have committed to this program, as well as interfaith publications and information regarding including individuals with disabilities within the spiritual community.

  The Mission of Yes I Can, International is to reach out to families with special needs and provide professional training services, adaptation/modification techniques, and funding resources to their places of worship. Also offers support to families (including respite services and IEP support.)
