  This week long camp provides an inclusive setting for children with and without disabilities to participate in fun activities surrounding science, math, arts and history.
blue arrow Family Networks Maryland Camp Resources
  Family Networks provides in its Camp Resources section a wealth of information on choosing a camp for children with disabilities. A listing of accessible camps as well as information on what to look for in a good camp are included on this page.

  This is a website dedicated to camping for children, and has resources for parents of children both with and without disabilities on finding a camp that is right for them. Topics include: How to Choose a Camp, Things to Consider when Choosing a Camp, and Questions to Ask Camp Directors.
blue arrow Lil' Tykes Sunshine Camp
  Patricia Hayes-Hunt, owner of Lil' Tykes Country Club, is a certified Master-level teacher and a licensed child care provider. This summer, Lil' Tykes will be expanding their services to include a camp for toddlers who are 2 - 3 years old.
The program includes opening circle time, hands-on learning, movement, arts & crafts, music, computer, a healthy snack, and fun play time.

In addition, the M-NCPPC Special Programs Division provides Therapeutic Recreational programs and services for Prince George’s County residents with disabilities.

  Montgomery County has several therapeutic recreation camp opportunities for individuals with disabilities age 5-21. There is a charge to attend the camp. Please contact the program directly for more information.

  If your child enjoys therapeutic horseback riding, you will find this site useful! Although not a listing of summer camps, this site provides information on places that offer therapeutic riding for children with disabilities, and the listing is organized by state.

A special section called Camp Scholar posts articles by experts on issues affecting summer camps. blue arrow The World Arts Focus at Joe’s Movement Emporium
  The World Arts Focus at Joe’s Movement Emporium is a community performing and visual arts program for all children and adults. The staff incorporates a holistic approach to performing arts and has the training and experience to understand how to incorporate children’s different learning styles into different classes. Children with disabilities have the choice of being included into the class sessions and/or individualized sessions. Summer camp opportunities include Motion Theatre, Creativity Explored, and Xtreme Circus. There is a charge for each of these camps, but financial assistance is available to qualified applicants.
